Description
This course consists of 18 personal auto claims and coverage scenarios. Using the ISO PP 00 01 09 18 Personal Auto Policy, students will review the policy provisions to determine if the loss or situation is covered. There will also be a discussion of endorsements that might be needed to cover the situation.
Basic Course Information
Major Subjects- Is there coverage for a large truck rented for a personal move?
- Is there coverage for pizza delivery?
- Should an insured purchase coverage when renting a vehicle?
- When should I remove coverage for a named insured after a divorce?
Learning Objectives
- Understand questions to ask when reviewing coverage in an ISO PAP and Homeowners policy
- Learn the approach to analyzing coverage on the PAP and homeowners policy
- Comprehend the importance of definitions
- Become aware of important endorsements to offer for coverage gaps

He has been in the insurance business for over 45 years and has been an underwriter, field representative, and insurance agent. He has the CIC, CPCU, ARM, AU, AAM AAI AINS CPIA and CRIS designations.
